Our goal as a Student Ministry is to reach those around us with the gospel message. We do this through how we interact with others both in action and word. Serving our community is a big part of this. Whether it is hosting a cook-out in a local neighborhood or organizing can-goods at a local food-bank, we strive to show God's love through serving others. If you are looking for somewhere to serve, Second Harvest is a great place to start. Check the Upcoming Events page to see if there are any local service opportunities in the near future.

Our desire is not only to impact our local community with the gospel, but to also impact the global community. We do this through international missions trips. Our most recent mission trip involved traveling to Jamaica where we partnered with a local church to build outhouses for families in need. While many people see Jamaica as a rich and fruitful tourist destination, it is home to a large number of families living in poverty away from the main attractions. We not only had the opportunity to minister to families in need, but we were also able to partner with, encourage, and learn more about the church and its presence in a poverty stricken community. If you are interested in global missions, check out the links below to the organizations we and our students often partner with to plan International Mission Trips.
