Our Community

One of our purposes is to be a church of irresistible influence in our community. We accomplish this by equipping individuals and providing opportunities for them to join with other believers in reaching out to the world around us.  We cooperate and place volunteers with the following ministries in our community to share the love of Christ.

Legacy Middle School (where we meet on Sunday mornings)

Please remember this opportunity to serve and reach our God given neighbors. Their food pantry for homeless students at Legacy MS needs little-to-no-cook food items. You can help by bringing in items on Sunday mornings to the Legacy Basket/Box at the back of service.

2018-2019 Backpack Drive!

Every August we fill backpacks for students in need at Legacy MS to allow them to kick off the school year prepared and free to focus on learning! CrossWay is providing backpacks - consider filling several with items on the supply list. First day of school is August 13th! Contact the church office to pick up a backpack or drop items off.

 English Club

Do you speak English? Then you are prepared to join as we reach out to help our office neighbors at Guavate Puerto Rican Bistro improve their English!  Starting February 16, 2018, we will be available Fridays from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm at the Crossway office to help them practice speaking English (422 S. Alafaya Trail, Suite 21, Orlando, 32828). Many have already asked for this opportunity and are excited for it to start! For more information email info@crosswayorlando.org.

ThriVe Orlando  Located off East Colonial, this center is a safe place where men and women can go for help with an unplanned pregnancy, post-abortive issues and related concerns. Caring, compassionate volunteers help people, not judge or condemn them in any way. In these overwhelming circumstances when people feel they have nowhere to turn, ThriVe Orlando stands with them with a passionate desire to offer help and hope.

Evangelical Free Church of America - Southeast District
